SUPPORT WORKER - LINDY WILKINSON
My name is Lindy-Lou, and I moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2022 with my partner and 3 year old son. We are originally from the UK, but have also lived in Sydney and travelled a lot before our lovely little boy was born. We are now settled and very happy living here on this beautiful coast. In my spare time I enjoy walks, camping, going to the beach and spending time with my family.
Since moving to the Sunshine Coast I decided I needed a change in my career. I am a qualified hairdresser but after 8 years I felt like it wasn't filling my cup. That is when I got the opportunity to start working with the amazing KB team. I love the values and friendliness of the KB team and how they strive to improve the lives of others.
I've found this role of supporting people really suits me and my caring nature. I absolutely love working with these fabulous and wonderful people. They bring me joy everyday and I do my utmost to make sure I do the same for them.
I have already done heaps of training with KB Infinity since I started in 2023, but I will be commencing a Cert 3 in Individual support this year to continue my learning and improve my skills.
SUPPORT WORKER - LIZ LUHR
Hi, I'm Liz.
I've proudly called the Sunshine Coast home for more than 30 years. I'm the mum of three amazing children, and our home is always full of life with two dogs, two cats, and a bird! Alongside working full-time, I also help care for my parents, who live just across the road.
I've worked in the care industry for more than 20 years, with experience across diversional therapy, aged care, dementia, mental health, and disability support. Caring for others has always been my passion and something I've known I was meant to do. I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a role where I can make a genuine difference in people's lives every day.
I'm friendly, down-to-earth, and love a good laugh. I believe kindness, compassion, and a sense of humour can make all the difference in helping people live their best lives while feeling valued, respected, and supported.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family and friends, listening to music, camping, and soaking up the peace and beauty of nature. I especially enjoy the country lifestyle and have a huge soft spot for animals (particularly dogs)!
SUPPORT WORKER - SHAY HARDY
Hi, my name is Shay and I am a Support Worker with KB Infinity Support.
Originally, I am from Tasmania, but after finishing school I moved to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Nursing. During my time in Victoria, I worked as a Support Worker, supporting people with a wide range of disabilities and support needs. This experience gave me a genuine appreciation for person-centred care and reinforced my passion for helping people live independently and achieve their goals.
In January this year, my partner and I made the exciting move to Queensland to enjoy a new lifestyle and to complete the final year of my Nursing degree. Since relocating, I have loved exploring everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer and becoming part of such a welcoming community.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy spending time outdoors. You’ll often find me hiking, travelling, exploring new places, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with my partner and our two very spoiled cats. I love meeting new people, trying new experiences, and making the most of every opportunity to learn and grow.
What I enjoy most about support work is building genuine connections with participants and helping them work towards their goals, no matter how big or small. I believe everyone deserves to feel valued, respected, and empowered to live life on their own terms. Being able to support people to gain confidence, develop skills, access their community, and enjoy the things they love is incredibly rewarding.
I am proud to be part of the KB Infinity Support team and look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of the people I support.
SUPPORT WORKER - GEORGIA KENNEDY
Hi, I'm Georgia!
I lived my early life in Brisbane before moving to the Sunshine Coast for a lifestyle change.
My career background is a bit of a mix as I’ve worked across hospitality, management, marketing and beauty to name a few before making my way into disability support work. My passion for connection, advocacy and quietly making an impact is exactly why I love this role.
When I’m not working you’ll probably find me at the beach with my dog, finding a new cafe, getting into a random hobby or project, or planning my next trip. Im a big believer in always having something to look forward to!
